I have the Raspberry Pi 5 with a Flirc case.
It idles around 50C with 13 running containers, 2 python programs, and tailscale VPN.
(If I disable all the above, it idles around 45C.)
One thing I had to do to lower the values was to split the thermal pad in half and stack the two pieces. I believe that prior to that, there was still a gap between the thermal pad and the case, so it was idling around 60C. By stacking the pieces, I removed the gap, and the heat is now being properly transferred to the case.
