PiSugar is not a Raspberry product. But if you go to the Pisugar website (found simply by Google), you might find this little table (sorry the tabs are mangled):

Code:

Electrical SpecificationsElectrical Specifications PiSugar 3 Plus PiSugar 3Input 5V-3Amax 5V-3AmaxOutput 5V-3Amax 5V-2.5AmaxBattery capacity 5000mah 1200mahCommunication interface 0x57/0x68 address 0x57/0x68 addressSize of PCB 65mmX56mm 65mmX30mm
Which says that a PiSugar 3 is limited to 1Ah2, while a PiSugar 3+ can handle 5Ah.

You might also find a contact email for PiSugar, who should be the authority on this.
