I'm interested to know if anyone out there is successfully using on the Pi 5 both a PCIe-connected device as well as the built-in on-board Wi-Fi at the same time.
It doesn't seem to matter how things are connected, whenever I have a PCIe device attached, the Wi-Fi doesn't work. I have to use a wired ethernet connection if I want any network connectivity while using the PCIe.
At first I thought it was because I was using a generic FFC (you know, the white ones with blue tabs). I know from reading experiences here and elsewhere that this is not ideal - although I haven't been having any trouble with PCIe stability myself. But, I have since acquired a proper two-layer impedance-controlled FFC and it hasn't helped.
I'm not sure what more I can do, or if this is just an expected, inherent side-effect of using the PCIe?
