Hi ~. (> ~ <) !!
I'm new to engineering and Raspberry Pi and recently I've been working on a project that needs to connect Spike Lego motor to Raspberry Pi 5. I found out that we can use build HAT to connect Raspberry Pi 5 to the Spike motor directly so me and my friend decided to try it out. Later we wanted to add some sensors to our project so we think we wanted to add sense HAT onto the Raspberry Pi 5 too.
In order to make it happen, from what I understand, we need to check each HAT's GPIO Pins on whether they overlap or not so I checked out several websites.
1. Build HAT GPIO
https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... d-hat.html
2. Sense HAT GPIO
https://datasheets.raspberrypi.com/sens ... NS4wLjAuMA..
https://pinout.xyz/pinout/sense_hat
Then from here, I'm a bit confused since the GPIO of the Sense HAT from the 2 sources didn't match up entirely . The official
document showed that it uses GPIO10, GPIO9, and GPIO11 while the pinout website didn't highlight these pins.
However, even if those 3 confusing pins are used in Sense HAT too the GPIO pins of these two HATS don't overlap ~!
So I'm thinking of stacking them up by attaching the Build HAT to Raspberry Pi 5 and then Sense HAT on top of the Build HAT without using a jumper.
So, I want to know if the direct method of stacking Sense HAT on Build HAT on Raspberry Pi 5 would work or not.
Or are there any alternative ways of connecting those 3 together?
And if not are there any recommended ways to add sensors to the Raspberry Pi Board?
Thank u so muchhh ~!! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა⭑.ᐟ
