HATs and other add-ons • Waveshare SPI touch display with headless pi?

I have a Waveshare 3.5 inch capacative touch IPS display (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DNQJD7BV) that I want to use with a Pi (probably Pi Zero) on headless mode. Does anyone hsve experience setting this up?

For reference, this is what I want to do with it:

• Display text, be able to adjust opacity of text

• Have scrolling, so that users can scroll down to see more text

• Have buttons, that users can tap different peices of text and a menu will pop up

• Regarding the afformentioned menu, I want it to be able to have drop/down menus

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
