https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... ie-gen-3-0Hi,
i purchased the Argon NEO 5 M.2 NVME PCIE Case for my raspberry Pi5 and i am using this NVMe SSD: https://www.amazon.de/Crucial-Plus-PCIe ... B0BYW8FLKN
My benchmark is showing:
disk read: 750 MB/sec
disk read: 397 MB/sec
There's a script which will add this setting to the config.txt
dtparam=pciex1_1=gen3
i tried setting it to gen4 as my SSD is gen4 but it will deny booting.
Is this the fastest the Pi5 PCIe Bus can handle?
So how should it support gen4 and how would you even try to enable it?The Raspberry Pi 5 is not certified for Gen 3.0 speeds. PCIe Gen 3.0 connections may be unstable.
