I have a possible project to interface a Pi Zero or other Pi device to a Contour shuttle pro USB controller via a USB port that passes power and serial data interface to the controller on the input side and powers the PI Zero and the shuttle pro via a second USB port from a PC for custom control interface to a software application.
The concept is to use the PI Zero as a plug and play firmware device between a Windows/OSX/Linux cross platform app so loading and configuring software drivers on a computer is not necessary. When console control is enabled by an existing config switch in the app it will just work. The Pi device acts a serial code translator between the controller and the computer.
I am new to the Piverse so would appreciate suggestions/ solutions for dual USB serial port expansion + power distro hardware via USB headers.
Thanks in advance for any input.
