Raspberry Pi 5 has a "flusher" GPIO connector so all board that use pogo pins on the underside will have issues.
I have added two blobs of solder on the 2 power pins (4 and 6) so that they are higher up and make a better contact with the pogo pins. You need to be patient with the pin 3 (ground as it will heat up very slowly because of the ground fill that dissipates the heat, but it should work. To judge that the blobs are big enough, when adding the screen, the pogo pins need to slide in a little.
