HATs and other add-ons • Re: Zero sized HAT on 3a+ board

I want to mount a "Raspberry Pi Codec Zero" HAT on a "Raspberry Pi 3A+". Obviously the GPIO connector (and the adjacent pre-drilled mounting holes) will mate, but there are no pre-drilled holes on the 3A+ for the other two mounting holes on the Zero sized HAT.
It'll be fine with just the the two mounting holes either side of the GPIO header.
I have examined the 3A+ carefully, and there are no apparent obstructions that would preclude adding these two holes (and accommodate the posts and screws) .

However. I don't know if the 3A+ PCB is multi-layered. If not, then drilling the two holes would be reasonably straightforward.
It doesn't look to clear to me? The mounting holes are where the DSI and USB sockets are.

The board is multilayered so don't drill into it.
